Re: Extrudermotor wird nicht mehr angesteuert

Neue Platine ... neues Hotend ... neue Software (S3D 4.0).

Re: No Filament extruding and/or "clicking noise"

I got a clue now: S3D's machine control panel records error messages "cold extrusion prevented". The "clicking noise" from the extrusion stepper motor short before extrusion stops indicates that it is unable to move the filament, but it disappears soon, so I guess the controller ...

Re: No Filament extruding and/or "clicking noise"

filament stops extruding only after a few minutes into each print. Update: I now replaced the complete "throat" and heater block, together with the nozzle, with brand new parts - in case something was wrong with this mechanically. My suspicion was that if this were the case, filament may ...

Re: Nozzle worn down...replacement manufacturer brands that fit?

This page mentions that it is a M6x1.0: https://all3dp.com/trinus-3d-printer-frequently-asked-questions/ I read this too. However I ordered one replacement nozzle when ordering Trinus. So I just measured it. The thread diameter measures around 7.8mm. I tried an M8 nut but doesn't fit. Maybe it's M8...

Printhead Easy Disassembly Mod

If the Filament gets stuck in the filament tube aka "throat", it is impossible to disassemble the printhead without cutting it. Since this happened quite often to me recently, I modded the case & fixture of the printhead a little: http://www.walther-mathieu.de/PICS/Trinus/A8234998X.JPG...

...besides ... just at the hard part of removing the throat tube from the heat block he fails. Fumbles a little and then simply reassembles the unit.

Re: No Filament extruding and/or "clicking noise"

Luckily the Trinus' printhead is quite easy to disassemble ... compared e. g. to another 3D printer of mine, the Flux Delta. The problem of filament becoming stuck in the teflon tube aka "the throat", however, is he very same: http://forum.flux3dp.com/t/i-fixed-my-clogged-nozzle/1063 "...

Re: TRINUS and Ideamaker

Did you print directly from Ideamaker? Via USB to the Trinus eventally?

Ideamaker has a lot of S3D's look and feel, I guess it is the same internally,
only sporting a more decent GUI for the high end Raise3D machines...

Re: Nozzle and heat block screws stuck

Disassembly of this little piece is tricky ... the thread comes loose but the nozzle is still stuck on the filament tube. Carefully put the heat block in a vise (vice) and pull heavily on the nozzle while rotating it with a wrench. It will come off. If you managed to damage the hexagon inside the he...
