I recently wanted to build a little bigger than what Trinus is made for. While this is physically possible, the firmware does not allow you to go over its soft limits(defined in firmware). I also noticed that the temperature measurement readout(graph) of the nozzle was not support by default in Simplify3D.

For this purpose, I reversed engineered the Trinus motherboard and ported native Marlin on it.

This solution solved all my needs.

I am wondering if there is a need to share this solution?
Or maybe this already exists?

I would be intested in this.
Do you have a step-by-step instruction on how you did this?

sambuls also loaded a video on youtube => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIrDApt29v0

And has created a GitHub page for the code here=> https://github.com/sambuls/MarlinOnTrinus

There has also been a bit of discussion about it on the facebook group for anyone wondering why it's so quiet here ;)

yep, great work! I'd like to know how to switch to marlin firmware, too. Just flashing?
