Ok, you are pursuing your low-cost mandate by taking it as low as you can go. Great, I'll buy one. But I really want the promised add-ons for the Trinus - cnc head and multiple nozzle head, etc. Also an update to Pango wouldn't hurt - some serious bugs there.
Finally - you need to go in the other direction as well - high-end - given the speed and reliability of the all-metal construction I could really use a build volume 4x larger (2x bigger machine).
My $0.02.

own 3 deluxe machines and enough spare parts to build another...

YES, I'm still waiting since 6 Months. (some LASER bugs)

Why is APPLE™ so successful?
1. they bring their products on the market only when they are mature
2. they deliver not only good hardware, but also perfect software.
Otherwise you will not become a market leader.

Interesting... and all this time I didn't realize Apple was a startup ;-)

What laser bugs? I've used my laser just fine, as with other users:

Please read here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2149

1. When I start my laser, I can not stop the movement to the reference point, unless I pull the power cord out of the wall. STOP and PAUSE on the LCD didn't work.
2. If I change the speed from 20%, it goes to the next point again with 100%. I can not stop it at the start point to set the focus and adjust the material.
3. If I want to laser a lettering, I must invert the image. White background is lasered, not the black writing.
